March 2004 - The Brian Morden Foundation Pledges $50,000
to Support the Opening of a Pilot Study

NEW - January 28, 2005 - The Brian Morden Foundation and the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative have joined forces and will be presenting $50,000 to the University of Michigan team of researchers to help fund the pilot study.

The NEW Phase II Ewing's Sarcoma Vaccine Clinical Trial Proposal that the Brian Morden Foundation
has been supporting, has been received by the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer
Institute for review and funding. The $1.9 million proposal will test the power of the ES vaccine to bring
recurrent/relapsed ES patients into complete remission, a cure.

However, the painful reality of the publicly funded NIH/NCI review is that it will take at least eight
months to complete. Tragically, many recurrent/relapse ES patients will not make it through the review
period. The Brian Morden Foundation is determined to prevent this from happening. Dr. Geiger and his
research team have an idea that could save these sick ES patients. A privately funded "Pilot Study" would
bring treatment to recurrent/relapsed patients who can't wait until the NIH/NCI Clinical Trial is up and
running.

The Brian Morden Foundation has pledged $50,000 to Dr. Geiger and his research team to open the
Pilot Study and begin treating patients as soon as possible.

The Brian Morden Foundation has part (thanks to tremendous support from many people since Brian died),
but not all of the $50,000. We have made this pledge in faith, faith in the vaccine and faith in you. We are
asking you to help us fulfill this pledge. We are asking you to send the Brian Morden Foundation a
contribution to save a child's life. Our family pays all BMF out-of-pocket expenses. 100% of your
tax-deductible gift to the Brian Morden Foundation directed to the "Pilot Study" will go directly to
the Ewing's Sarcoma Vaccine Pilot Study at the University of Michigan.
